 Updated - Since my review in February, I've been back to the
Skin Spa at least every month for a brazilian bikini wax "upkeep," if
you will. You can't really go wrong with whomever you end up with. All
the gals who work at this New York City spa really seem to know what
they're doing. Now that I live downtown, I'll probably relocate to the
new Soho shop. |

Somehow this New Yorker waited until today to get her first ever
facial in a New York Spa. The Skin Spa is gonna make me a lifer.
I absolutely loved my aesthetician. She was so knowledgeable and made
me feel at ease during the entire procedure. I asked a lot of
questions about my troubled skin, and she was honest and didn't try to
upsell me on products I don't need. She also suggested I speak to my
dermatologist about certain issues that she couldn't answer. I really
appreciated that. I've read a lot about extractions and how painful they can be, but I
didn't have that experience at all. She was quick and gentle, but
still thorough. I really loved The Skin Spa and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a good New York City spa. |

I came to the Skin Spa to get laser hair removal on my bikini and
underarm and I will never go anywhere else again. This New York city spa
is clean and all of the estheticians are nice and VERY informative.
They really took the time to answer all of my questions before the
procedure and helped me to relax (I was a little nervous!).
It’s been 4 months since I started coming here and I am so
satisfied with my laser hair removal results that I am starting my
legs tomorrow!!! Great prices, experienced technicians, and calm/soothing atmosphere. |

A very non descript building entrance, but don't let that fool you.
Once you get to the spa level, you'll be charmed by the airy room that
awaits. All the staff is very friendly and personable. Your beauty
attendant will wisk you away and take you to one of the small but
comfortable rooms and do what you've come there for. My aesthetician
was very knowledgeable and really cared about the issues I had. And
that's what matters most. I had Microdermabrasion done and I give them
an A for the treatment. I've had this done many times and know the
difference between a good job and not so good one. They're very good,
attentive being the key feel from them. Once in the room, there's
soothing music, aromatherapy and dimmed lighting until the procedure
when she's inspecting your skin. They are clean and very professional.
The location is midtown east and you would think they'd be exhorbitant
in fees, but with the package deal, it's actually pretty reasonable.
My aesthetician was also very informative of money saving tips and
getting the bigger bang off your buck, which I really appreciated. The
overall experience was a very good one at this New York Spa and I'll
keep going back there for my beauty issues. |

highly recommend the skin spa laser hair removal treatments. I was incredibly
impressed with the exceptional service I received the minute I walked
in the door. the front desk was incredibly knowledgeable, hospitable
and made me feel welcome right away. My consultation was very
informative and I appreciated the care I received. The technician was
very professional and her years of experience show in her performance.
I tell all of my friends and family to come here if they are
interested in addressing their concerns. |

Thank goodness for the new Skin Spa in Soho! Now that I live in
Little Italy (the poor girl's Soho), it would've been super annoying
to continue to trek to the Skin Spa in midtown for my monthly bikini
waxes. My aesthetician was a doll and I felt totally comfortable...
barely any pain, and a good, clean wax! This is my new go-to spa for
any skin-related services. In love. |
