 It was nice to get a brazilian wax in a New York City spa and actually be
treated like a human being going through a painful process -- taking
care to do as few strips as possible, telling when to breathe, etc.,
and with good results. It made everything easier.

Love it!! Excellent Laser Hair Removal results! I am about half way through my laser hair removal treatments at The
Skin Spa, and I couldn't be happier!! I have already lost all of the
coarse hairs and most of the fine hairs are gone as well!! I had heard
horror stories from one of my girlfriends who had received laser hair
removal treatments in other New York City spas, so I was hesitant to start.
However, I had already been going to The Skin Spa for facials, and I
absolutely LOVE the staff, everyone is so friendly, so that definitely
helped me make my decision---and I'm so glad that I did... I started
with my brazilian bikini and now I am getting my underarm area done as well.
I already have several patches of hairless smooth skin so I should be
hairless by summer (can't wait!). The only drawback: you’re not supposed to have a tan--(so you have to be extra careful on vacations) .. I have already brought 3 of my girlfriends to the spa and they love it so far too! I definitely recommend this New York City spa and their laser hair removal!!

I LOVED MY VISIT AT THE SKIN SPA. BEING THAT IT WAS MY FIRST TIME AT A NEW YORK CITY SPA AND MY FIRST TIME HAVING A FACIAL, I DID ALOT OF RESEARCH AND IT WAS WORTH IT. THE LADY THAT TOOK CARE OF ME WAS GOD SENT. SHE WALKED ME THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROCESS, SHE WAS VERY GENTLE, THE ROOM WAS SO WELL PUT TOGETHER. I love this New York City Spa. I have had 3 treatments done at The Skin
Spa, by three different employees, and they were all equally warm and
welcoming, and skilled and professional. The treatment that I had was
the Laser TITAN. My face and neck are noticeably smoother and tighter.
My friends always ask me why I don't have any wrinkles as they do and
we are all in our mid fifties. Even my family comments on my smooth
skin and neck. I would not hesitate to recommend The Skin Spa and any
of their highly trained staff. Make your appointment, lay back, and
enjoy!

My waxer was a sweetheart. she explained everything to me, answered
all my questions, and was super-gentle, applying nice pressure after
she pulled the wax off. i'd definitely go back to this new york city spa!

My experience was super from the moment that I made the first call to
book the appointment at this New York Spa. I had called a lot of
places but knew that this was the place to come. When I walked through
the door and was greeted by the receptionist, her professionalism and
warmth made my anxiety dissipate. Then I met my esthetician and the
incredible experience began. The treatment I chose was the Titan and
Laser Genesis. The esthetician explained in detail every step and what
I would experience through the entire process, which is very important
to a client. She informed me about my skin condition and the course of
action that I needed. Her expertise was incredible and she has hands
from heaven! I will finish the treatments that she outlined and I
recommend this new york spa to everyone. They give terrific packages. My skin
is great and it was just the first time. A very satisfied client!

From the moment that I walked inside this New York City spa, I was forced
into tranquility. There is soft music playing in the lobby, which
helped me calm down from my daily rush. Once inside of the facial room
(which was simply appointed and very clean!), since it was my first
Microdermabrasion, I was walked through the entire procedure. The
treatment was very relaxing and my skin was glowing for days after
just one session. In the end, I was extremely happy and with the
experience and will definitely be going back!

Look no further for laser hair removal! I've just finished by fifth
(of six) treatments at this New York City spa and could not be happier. My
skin is almost hair-free. Their lasers have worked great, were
relatively painless (similar to waxing) and the technicians have been
friendly and thorough. Plus, the Midtown and Soho locations and hours are convenient and the prices are good. Definitely highly recommend The Skin Spa.

I've been going to the Skin Spa for about a year. I have to tell you,
my search for the perfect New York city spa is over. I first started with laser hair
removal on my face and now go there for brazilian bikini waxing. My
technician is very courteous, completely professional, and totally not
judgmental. I feel like she really genuinely cares about her clients.
I have absolutely no horror stories. I was so nervous for my first
laser & brazilian bikini wax, but the environment, starting with the soothing music &
the very friendly receptionist totally puts me at ease every time. I
highly recommend The Skin Spa for both laser hair removal & brazilian bikini wax!

I absolutely loved my first visit to this new york city spa. I have been in New York
for about 3 months, and I have never been treated so friendly and
attentive. The lady who waxed me was extremely warm. It was my first
brazilian bikini wax and I was a little uncomfortable, but she definitely
helped me feel less nervous and calmed me down. It wasn't quite as
painful as I expected, and she was very thorough. The rest of the
staff was professional and friendly as well. I'll definitely be going
back.

So my waxer recently moved and I found The Skin Spa through this site.
As it turns out, it’s located right around the corner from my office (I
didn't even know it was there). Anyway, I was a little nervous at
first since I had used the same waxer for several years. But I was
pleasantly surprised by this New York City spa and the great service. The
spa is very clean, has a soothing atmosphere and most importantly, my
waxer was absolutely amazing. She made me feel comfortable and did a
very thorough job on my brazilian bikini wax. Definitely going back!

was really impressed. There was NO pressure on sales or products and
everyone was SO friendly. The location is so convenient (in Midtown Manhattan by Grand Central) and this is the first place I have been to that makes
a microdermabrasion treatment as enjoyable as a facial! I bought a package on my
first visit and I am looking forward to the rest of my treatments. |

I visited The Skin Spa for a facial, and my face has been glowing ever
since. I constantly have to care for my skin; I had a lot of acne as a
kid and keeping my face clear nowadays takes an effort. Last week, I
was broken out and had a lot of deep black-heads. The esthetician
spent a lot of time and thoroughly cleaned out my pores. Once the
bumps went away (less than a day later), my face was shining. I felt
very comfortable and relaxed during my treatment (even though my skin
was being cleaned out), and for the last few days, I have been getting
a lot of compliments on how good my skin looks. I highly recommend
dropping in to this New York City spa for a facial.

treatments here and the results have surpassed my expectations. The
aestheticians were professional, confident and responsive to my needs
during the treatments. For example, i have really dark hair, and let's
face it, laser hair removal sometimes hurts! When I expressed that it
was outside my comfort level, the aesthetician adjusted the settings
to something a little more comfortable. I really dig this new york spa. It's

The woman who did the brazilian bikini waxing was incredibly thorough (used
tweezers at the very end). My skin in that area calmed down in about
half an hour, which is a very short time compared to other brazilian bikini waxes I've
experienced.

Bel-Aire California native and have heard great things about this New
York City spa. I was treated by a wonderful esthetician and had the laser
genesis facial which completely changed the look of my skin. I left
there feeling fresh, tight and had an unbelievable glowing look,
everyone at dinner that evening had a compliment for me. I highly

polite and delightful. The owner came and introduced himself and made

A friend from work told me about this New York City Spa. It's actually
right in midtown near Grand Central. I went here for a Brazilian Bikini Wax
after work. It's very upscale and trendy. They have a cute staff and
they seem to know all their customers by name. I was taken back at how
friendly it was. It wasn't your typical NYC snooty spa. Anyhoo, my
visit was great. The wax they used for a brazilian bikini was non-irritating and they
actually educated me with waxing tips. After bad wax experiences at
other new york spas, i was happy to find this place. Definitely recommend.

talking to their staff on the phone. They were very nice, informative
and actually seemed happy to answer all my questions. Last Mother's
Day we had a horrible experience so i was skeptical to try another
new york city spa. Well thank goodness for The Skin Spa! I had a facial while my
mother was treated to a Microdermabrasion Treatment and Photolight Facial. I have never looked so good. My treatment was the best she's ever had. I actually felt
like I was back in the midwest with my mom, because there was no

I stumbled upon The Skin Spa recently when surfing the net for a New
York City spa. The staff on the phone was super nice, and really KNEW their
product. I went in for something called a Love Your Skin facial? It was a
customized facial with a laser facial treatment combined. The woman who treated
me was terrific, full of information and I left looking as if i had
been on vacation for the past 2 weeks. There was a good positive
energy amongst the workers, which i seldom fine and they never rushed
me and even educated me on some things i wasn't aware of. I received
soo many compliments about how i looked after my treatment, that i
already booked my next facial and bought one for my sister's birthday!

After a long winter of battling dry skin I finally made an appointment
at The Skin Spa and I couldn't have made a better decision. The staff
is friendly, knowledgeable and attractive. The deep cleansing facial
unclogged my suffocating pores and re-hydrated my skin, unbelievable.
The laser facial treatment that followed took out all the redness and
capillaries around my nose while removing sun damage from 22 yrs of
living in Florida. Check it out!

Genesis facial is simply beyond belief! my esthetician said that I
will need about 5 - 6 treatments every 3 weeks, as I endured a 2-year
bout of adult acne when I first moved to NYC. As a result, I have a
grab bag of issues: uneven skin tone, redness, enlarged pores, some
scarring. But after one treatment, my skin has tightened, the tone is
more even, the pores look less visible. It's a MIRACLE!! I'm such a
fan!

I've had their laser genesis facials and TITAN laser treatments at
this New York spa. The laser genesis facials showed results almost immediately in reducing fine lines and evening out skin tone. My skin was visibly improved. But the
TITAN treatment accomplished the impossible...it turned back time. The
crow's feet around my eyes are GONE! The wrinkles around my lips are
GONE! And my jaw line is much more defined. Because they have the
latest lasers, both treatments are painless, like sitting under a sun
lamp. Their staff is great: professional and knowledgeable. They can
answer all your questions and let you know just what to expect. They
really target the professional, since you can get in and out with no
downtime. Their prices are very reasonable for their services. Bottom

I've been going to The Skin Spa for laser hair removal on my brazilian bikini area and I've gotten outstanding results. I've seen a significant decrease in hair
in just a couple of treatments. The laser hair removal treatments are fast and relatively
painless. The esthetician and staff at this New York City spa are very
friendly and highly knowledgeable about laser hair removal. Great midtown
